ABOUT
Aspiring to become a successful interior designer in London. I have achieved a bachelor’s degree with First Class Honours in interior design, showcased my work in London Metropolitan University’s annual Summer Shows and the 2022 New Designers Event, while also being awarded for competing in competitions hosted by organisations such as BIID (British Institute of Interior Design) and IE (Interior Educators).
My overall goal is to design spaces that promotes my own values of wellbeing, creativity, and inclusive design. I love to commit my time into every project to design bespoke furnishings and décor. Creating sustainable interiors that connects communities to each other and the environment.
Challenging myself and inspiring others about the creative arts and interior design is my passion. Therefore, I continue to share my knowledge and experience as a success coach (mentor) helping current interior design students from London Metropolitan University with their studies and also as a student ambassador representing the university in events such as open days, campus tours and supporting the National Saturday Club for 13–16-year-olds developing their skills in the field of art & design.

Kaye Newman - Head of Architecture & Design
London Metropolitan University
Rebecca has gone from strength to strength throughout the three years of study. She has diligently developed her skills and spatial understanding through hard work, taking on feedback and reflection and putting into action. Her determination is to be applauded and as such would be a very valuable team member.
Rebecca’s attendance and engagement has been excellent, she also became a student ambassador for the University, helping others in need. Rebecca has a strong voice and has contributed to both class and committee discussions. I wholeheartedly recommend her as very thorough, creative, and hardworking member of a design team.
Janette Harris - Senior Lecturer of Interiors
London Metropolitan University
Rebecca has excellent knowledge of AutoCAD, Photoshop, Revit, Rhino, and InDesign, as well as excellent haptic skills, with modelling and making. Her personality exudes passion for all the subjects she immerses her full into the projects and skills, enjoying learning, honing, and demonstrating newly acquired skills. Rebecca enjoys researching a project leading to well devised concepts and then developing into a fully workable programme.
Rebecca is one of the hardest working students I have ever had the pleasure to work with, taking advice and working quickly, always meeting her deadlines. She also works very well in a team and indeed formed a team and won the 2022 BIID student Design Challenge, with the project ‘Urban Shore’.
Jane Roberts - National Saturday Club Tutor
London Metropolitan University
Rebecca is a calm and intelligent young designer whose ability to focus on the task in hand does not waiver. She copes well with changes of plan, always checking that she understands the details and purpose of the new course of action. [National Saturday Art Club] Sessions always contain elements of the unknown from the number and type of attendees each week to the challenges of the tasks set. Rebecca responds quickly to these and is unflustered. It is important to arrive punctually as there is only a short time to set up for the session and I always know I rely on Rebecca.
The young people can need a wide variety of support during sessions from technical assistance to pastoral needs. Rebecca is observant, measured, and sensitive in her dealings with the students. She also works patiently alongside me at times when I may be dealing with difficult situations.
